Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how LinkFlow ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our URL shortener, QR code generator, analytics dashboard, redirect checker and unshorten URL tools (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated as you use LinkFlow:

  • Account data: name, email address, and password (hashed) when you create an account.
  • Link data: destination URLs, custom aliases, and QR codes you generate.
  • Analytics data: click timestamps, anonymized IP, country, device type, browser, and referrer.
  • Communications: messages you send through our contact form or support email.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide URL shortening, redirects, QR codes, and analytics dashboards.
  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, malware and other abuse.
  • Improve our products and develop new features.
  • Respond to your support requests and important service notices.

3. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as theme. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the service may not work correctly.

4. Analytics

When someone clicks a LinkFlow short link, we record aggregated, mostly anonymous data — including the time of the click, country, device type, browser and referring page — so link owners can see how their links perform. We do not sell click data and we do not build advertising profiles of visitors.

5. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage, hashed passwords, row-level access controls in our database, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate LinkFlow:

  • Cloud hosting and database (for authentication, storage and serverless functions).
  • Email delivery (for account and support emails).
  • Optional analytics tools to measure overall product usage.

These providers only access the data they need to perform their service.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, export or delete your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent for optional processing.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

You can also delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings — this removes your links and associated analytics.

8. Contact Information
